Goals

Study for Localization for low-cost drone/robots (Goal for this semeseter: Dataset collection and Motion capture)


Issues Involved or Addressed

  • Computer Vision, Wireless localization, 6D Pose estimation, Path Planning, Map representation, Mechanical system design, Motor Control, Time Synchronization, Networking

Medtods and Technologies

  • (1.) ROS, LiDAR skewing, SLAM, Localization, Sensor Control, GPP, LPP, Sensor Fusion, Machine Perception (especially, deep learning)

Preferred Interests and Preparation

  • First-year students are welcome. I highly recommend to student will be familiar with the Robot Operating System (ROS). Student should have basic knowledge of promgramming skill. e.g., C++ or Python, or Both. (※ This class is conducted at Songdo Aerospace R&D Campus)
