Goals

We are actively developing the F1TENTH autonomous vehicle platform, with the goal of advancing full-stack autonomous driving capabilities. Currently, two vehicles are being developed in parallel, covering everything from hardware integration to perception, path planning, and control.

Issues Involved or Addressed

  • 1. AI-Based Autonomous Driving Stack
-Localization: Learning-based IMU fusion, Visual Odometry, etc.
    -Perception: Object detection, traversability estimation
-Control: Reinforcement learning-based Model Predictive Control (MPC)
    2. Software Skill
    -GitHub, Docker, ROS2

Medtods and Technologies

  • 1. Real-time sensor data processing
    2. Object detection and tracking
    3. Global and local path planning
    4. State machine design and autonomous driving manager
    5. High-speed vehicle control

Preferred Interests and Preparation

  • We are seeking highly motivated students who want to gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge autonomous driving research. Basic programming skills (C++ or Python) are required. (※ All experiments and hands-on sessions will take place at the Incheon Songdo Aerospace Campus.)
